Windows 8 Tablets
If the Windows 8 development cycle closely mirrors that of Windows 7, a Windows release would be sometime in the mid-2012 range. If so, that would translate
into a final release by mid-2012. Dell's recently leaked Tablet Roadmap revealed that the OEM has marked Q1 2012 as its date for a Windows 8 based slate thus supporting this timeframe.
However, many say that Microsoft is much further along than previously thought. According to rumors, Microsoft will publicly demonstrate Windows 8 for Tablet PCs for the first time by
the end of June with a final release perhaps in time for the holidays.

Windows 8 OS News
OMG! The Microsoft Build conference (September 13-15) has shown us a preview of Windows 8. Microsoft has, for a decade and a half, done an admirable job of continually improving the Windows platform,
culminating in the hugely successful and highly praised Windows 7. So, it was with great anticipation that I looked forward to the unveiling of Windows 8. Now that I've seen it, I'm disheartened to say the least.
I may go so far as to call this move as pathetic. Yes, it’s just a preview, but previews are an indication of where Microsoft is headed, and Microsoft doesn't usually digress much from their previews.

MS Office 15 News

it is thought to be tightly integrated into Microsoft's cloud initiative — the so called, three screens and the cloud slogan. In addition, some evdience suggests that
Microsoft is planning an improved meeting system and OWA (Outlook Web Access) enhancements for the next generation of Office. One job posting included: "The next generation
client will include world class messaging, contacts, calendaring and social collaboration for both enterprise and cloud, and will use the latest in web technology."
